When all you hear is you're not worth anything. Wondering if you ever could be loved. And if they truly saw your heart, they'd see to much. You're beautiful. you're beautiful. You are made for so much more than all of this. You're beautiful. You're beautiful. You are treasured. You are sacred. You are His.
Do you get it? Do you understand?
Do you realize God cares more about our spiritual beauty then He ever will about our physical beauty?
Do you see that we are made for so much more?
We were made to worship. Made to love Him and others and ourselves.
We were made to crave.
Made to crave HIM.
You are loved. You are treasured. You are sacred. You are HIS.
Why be consumed with feelings of failure? Feelings of defeat?
Why be ruled by our outward appearance? Why be ruled by the food around us?
Why be ruled by guilt and shame?
Stop telling yourself the person in the mirror is ugly. Stop telling yourself that things will never change.
Stop telling yourself that you are a failure. Stop telling yourself that there is no hope.
Because there is. There is Hope. And His name is Jesus.
I think it's so important to be able to find that deep strength inside of each of us - whatever the source - in order to realize that we are all made of enormous potential.
